Lakers star Luka Doncic said after a win against the Nuggets that he will attempt to appeal the technical foul he was called for tonight, which was his 13th of the season.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic received his 13th technical foul of the season in a 115–107 win against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.
Luka is getting closer to his 16th technical foul of the season, which would result in a fine and a one-game suspension.
To avoid getting into the risk zone, Doncic said he will try to appeal the technical he received on Tuesday, saying he didn’t say anything to deserve it.
“I mean, I will try to get that one back, because the only thing I said was, ‘I got hit in the arm twice,’ and I shouldn’t get a tech for that,” Doncic said postgame, via Dave McMenamin.
Luka finished the game with a triple-double of 38 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, leading his team to its 26th win of the season.
This season, Luka is playing in MVP form, leading the league in scoring with 33.5 points per game while also adding 7.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists per contest.
With a 26–16 record, the Los Angeles Lakers are currently sitting fifth in the Western Conference.
