Chelsea are gearing up for the return of David Luiz to Stamford Bridge as his Pafos side have travelled over for the Champions League tie.
Liam Rosenior‘s first taste of Champions League football comes at Stamford Bridge, a place where he failed in his first test against Arsenal this time last week.
However, it should be an easier evening for the Blues, with Pafos and David Luiz in town.
We have predicted that Chelsea will bring in Jorrel Hato at left-back and give Jamie Gittens a run out on the right-hand side, with plenty of selection decisions for Rosenior.
One player who won’t be involved is Tosin Adarabioyo, who is set to miss the next few weeks.
Chelsea’s best centre-back duo currently is Tosin and Fofana… 🧱

David Luiz taking no prisoners on his Chelsea return
David Luiz is widely considered a cult hero at Chelsea, largely due to his chaotic brilliance and his central role in some of the club’s most iconic modern moments.
The Brazilian won six major trophies at Chelsea, including every major piece of silverware available to an English club except the League Cup.

Speaking ahead of his return to Chelsea, he stated he’s coming to win (as per Peter Rutzler).
“I always had to do my job, you know? My family has to eat, I have to pay my bills!”
After that celebration for PSG in 2015, how do you feel about David Luiz today: Chelsea Legend or just a former player? 🤨

David Luiz’s Todd Boehly take hasn’t aged well
David Luiz spoke highly of Todd Boehly and what the Chelsea owners are trying to achieve in the summer.
“There’s a new chairman, long contracts for young players, a lot of changes have been made to try and grow the team over the past few years, and we’re seeing the results!”
However, it hasn’t exactly gone to plan. Chelsea fans have grown tired of both Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, with many claiming they don’t have the club’s best interests at heart.
