Chelsea Fc have announced that Academy attacker Ibrahim Rabbaj has put pen to paper on his first professional contract, committing his future to the Blues until at least 2028.
The Blues posted on the club website: ‘Rabbaj joined CHELSEA from Crystal Palace at Under-12s level and has developed into a creative attacking midfielder, becoming an influential figure throughout his schoolboy years at the club.
‘This season, he has been a consistent performer for our Under-18s, making 13 appearances across all competitions, including seven in the Under-18 Premier League. He scored a hat-trick in our 5-1 victory over Leicester City last time out, as the young Blues remain unbeaten in the league so far.
‘Rabbaj has also featured in our FA Youth Cup run, starting in the fourth-round victory over Brentford, as well as making his UEFA Youth League debut against Qarabag, before scoring his first Under-19s goal in a 1-1 draw with Barcelona.
‘At international level, Rabbaj represents Morocco and was part of the squad that lifted the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations in April 2025.
‘Congratulations Ibby!’
IcChelseanews Says….
The news that Rabbaj has agreed a new contract is great for the lad, he fully deserves this deal after all the hard work he has been putting in over the past few seasons.
We are hoping that he is now able to push on and make a mark on that first team, he will have to work very hard to get his opportunities, but he is certainly a player that could have a big future at the club that is for sure.
