**Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior has revealed that Tosin Adarabioyo will be sidelined with a hamstring injury for a “few weeks”.**
The 28-year-old was forced off during the second half of the 2-0 win over Brentford last weekend, and asked for an update on the player’s fitness, Rosenior replied:
“Unfortunately for Tosin, there’s something in his hamstring which is going to rule him out for the next few weeks.”
Tosin’s injury will mean he could be out for several key fixtures over the next month or so.
How many matches could Tosin miss in total?

Based on Rosenior’s estimate, it’s likely that the centre-back will be unavailable for five games, at the very least.
Tosin won’t be in the matchday squad for the Champions League fixture [**against Pafos**](https://chelseanews.com/blog/chelsea-predicted-lineup-vs-pafos-fc/) on Wednesday night, or this weekend’s Premier League clash at Selhurst Park versus Crystal Palace.
He will also be sidelined for the final Champions League group match against Napoli next week, the home league fixture versus West Ham and the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal at the start of February. The Wolves game might be the earliest opportunity for him to return to action.
Chelsea have other injury concerns

Enzo Fernandez is struggling with a virus that is spreading through the first-team squad. The Argentinian international trained on Tuesday, but he isn’t 100%.
Romeo Lavia is back in light training but he is still not ready to make his comeback from a muscular injury he sustained in early November. Levi Colwill (ACL) remains in rehabilitation.
There is some good news on the injury front, though. Malo Gusto is back in contention, having not featured since the 2-1 defeat to Fulham, while Jamie Gittens and Estevao have recovered from the virus that forced them to miss the victory against Brentford.
