NBA superstar Steph Curry is still a free agent when it comes to his on-court shoes, and Tuesday night saw the Golden State Warriors guard wearing a new sneaker from outside the world of basketball.
For years, Curry has been a massive tennis fan and that prompted him to show off an all-time great’s signature shoe against the Toronto Raptors.

Steph Curry was spotted wearing Roger Federer’s ‘On THE Roger Pro Fire’ tennis shoes Tuesday, which makes the Warriors standout the first NBA star to ever wear them on the court.
As his sneaker free agency continues, Warriors’ Stephen Curry pulled up tonight wearing Roger Federer’s signature “On THE ROGER Pro Fire tennis shoes.”
This is the first time any pro basketball player has ever worn On footwear on court.

It’s not completely shocking considering Curry and Federer have a mutual respect for one another. Curry is also a huge tennis fan and considered Federer as one of his favorite players in the sport’s history.

Steph Curry has been spotted around Federer in the past at events. Tuesday’s performance leaves the door open for a collaboration with the tennis icon’s shoe brand.
However, many NBA fans are still wondering about the future for Curry both on and off the court. He abruptly left his deal with Under Armour back in 2025 and has since been seen wearing various other brands.

To this point though, Steph Curry remains a free agent in the sneaker game and it appears that he’s enjoying himself by showing off several impressive styles of shoes.
