Liam Rosenior has been speaking to TNT Sports ahead of his debut in the Champions League. As you’d expect given recent evidence, he spoke very well.
Asked whether being such a young coach would help or hinder his progress, Rosenior rejected the premise entirely. There’s more to it than age, according to him.

“It’s not about being a young manager, it’s about being the right manager. Young managers can have completely different personalities [to one another],” Rosenior explained.
“The strengths of being a young manager… I feel that’s too broad a question. It’s about being the right manager for the right group of players. I feel I am. I already feel even better since I came in about the connections I made with the group, in terms of the understanding of the way we want to play. But it’s about the way we perform on the pitch.”
Well, he has a GREAT chance to show how his team perform on the pitch tonight, when his team take on Pafos in the Champions League looking to pick up 3 crucial points. We weren’t great against Brentford at the weekend but got away with it. This is a change to go up a gear once again.

In other news…
Arda Guler is apparently a target for Chelsea now, although we can only see one way the funds and the space in the squad are made for him – and it wouldn’t be popular.
Liam Delap has claimed that his love of yellows cards is not going to change anytime soon, something that will frustrate fans who have watched him mess up a few times this season.
