Chelsea were made to work for their first Premier League win under Liam Rosenior. Although the eventual routine look of a 2-0 scoreline, complete with the first clean sheet of his reign, will have hit the spot. There were signs of things clicking on the pitch under the new boss. But some fans still weren’t happy ahead of today’s game. Chelsea earned their first Premier League win under Liam Rosenior as beat Brentford 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer, from the penalty spot, scored either side of the interval for the Blues. Brentford came out with renewed impetus from the break, but somehow the clean sheet remained intact. Robert Sánchez made yet another ridiculous save, and this time he didn’t flub any crosses either! But Chelsea were looking dead at minute 50, and it seemed like only a matter of time before our net would ripple. Brentford resumed their quest for a goal, but it was not their day. Chelsea went down deep on the pitch, Rosenior responded by throwing more defenders on, and that ensured that it was a Blue day instead!
