Liverpool left-back Luke Chambers will spend the rest of the season on loan at Championship side Charlton Athletic. Chambers has made the move to The Valley having returned to action for the under-21s before Christmas following a long-term back injury.
The 21-year-old had been on a second loan at Wigan Athletic last season only for the spell to be cut short due to the issue, which ultimately kept him on the sidelines for nine months.
Chambers made his first appearance of the campaign for Liverpool U21s in December before featuring in the first two Premier League 2 games of the New Year, most recently coming through 62 minutes in the 7-0 romp over Arsenal at Kirkby on Saturday.

The defender will now link up with Charlton boss Nathan Jones, whose team are involved in a relegation scrap and stand only four points off the drop zone in 18th place after 2-1 defeat to Derby County on Tuesday.
Chambers, who has been at the Liverpool Academy since the age of six, made his senior debut in September 2023 and has four appearances for the first team, although the most recent was more than two years ago.
He previously won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with England and had a loan spell at Kilmarnock in the second half of the 2022/23 season.
