"This is the final year of his contract, and as of Wednesday, he has yet to sign a new deal. Though Kerr has publicly been mum about his future, multiple assistant coaches have been operating under the premise that he will not return next season, according to team sources, with some surveying the league to secure jobs next season."
Now 60, Kerr has been at the helm of the Warriors since 2014, guiding the franchise through one of the most successful dynasties in NBA history. Under his leadership, Golden State won four NBA championships in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022.
A five-time NBA champion as a player, Kerr was named NBA Coach of the Year in 2016 and served as head coach of the NBA All-Star Game twice (2015, 2017).
Across 12 seasons on the Warriors' bench, he owns a coaching record of 592 wins and 328 losses.
