Cade Cunningham (illness, hip) is listed as unavailable to play as the Pistons have travelled to face the Pelicans on a brief road trip.
This would mark the sixth absence of Cunningham for the Pistons this season. And considering that he is dealing with illness and a left hip contusion, his status also has to be monitored against the Houston Rockets on Friday.
At 31-10, Cunningham has led Detroit to the best record in the Eastern Conference this season. The budding superstar is also averaging 25.7 points, 9.8 assists, 5.9 boards and 1.4 steals in 36 games.
As Cunningham won't play, Jaden Ivey, Daniss Jenkins and Marcus Sasser are set to secure increased minutes from J.B. Bickerstaff.
