In the Warriors Stock Report, ESPN's Anthony Slater revealed that the Warriors have been compelled about the potential addition of Trey Murphy III.
"A name I continue to hear that has long been and remains of interest to them is Trey Murphy in New Orleans," he said.
"Now again, I think you probably know as well as I do, the Pelicans are very much signaling they don't want to move Trey Murphy. He's under a very good contract that they don't have to make a decision on now or the summer. Obviously, they have a hope to continue to build with the core that isn't succeeding there, but they seem to think maybe potentially can, so he would have to be made available to go get him.
"But that is a name that I think in some ways again doesn't fit the Giannis-type war chest of picks, but could pry them off a few."
