Hi everyone. Well, that was a fun night in Milan wasn’t it? Seven wins from seven in the Champions League and a top two spot secured with a game to go, it really has been an impressive campaign in Europe so far from Mikel Arteta and his players.
After the disappointment of the draw at Nottingham Forest at the weekend, Tuesday night’s win was the perfect pick me up ahead of yet another huge game this weekend when Manchester United will arrive at the Emirates.
Anyway, as we enjoy a bit of downtime before that match on Sunday, I’ve got an interview with Arsenal U21s winger Charles Sagoe Jr for you to enjoy. I sat down with the 21-year-old a few days ago to discuss what it’s like at Arsenal right now, the standards behind the scenes and how his season with the u21s is going.
We also spoke about a possible loan move this month, with the January transfer window now open, as well as Per Mertesacker’s decision to step down as academy manager at the end of the season.
