Twitch streamer Kingsman265's Marvel Rivals drama has gone massively viral, with the Atlanta Hawks making a TikTok video joking about it. Content creator BasimZB organized a Marvel Rivals tournament sponsored by NetEase.
48 streamers participated in the tournament on January 18 to win the $40,000 cash prize. Kingsman suggested that his team member Zazzastack change their character from Black Widow to something else.
He insisted that he had played Marvel Rivals several times, for thousands of hours. The streamer also mentioned being ranked one and in the top 500 on every role in the game.
As Kingsman told viewers he needed the prize money because he was "broke" and had to pay for his college tuition, he was removed from the team. Afterward, he made an hour-long video addressing the situation on his YouTube channel.
The video went massively viral, garnering over a million views. As netizens bashed the team members, the team leader, Cecee, responded on January 20. She claimed that Kingsman was removed from the team for being "disrespectful."
The argument between team members escalated, and event organizer BasimZB was shown clips from it. BasimZB then banned the streamer. Kingsman claimed that the document was created by Kaplunk, Zazzastack's boyfriend.
As netizens discussed the incident, the drama escalated, and Cecee apologized on X, saying she should have led the team "without emotions and a clear view." Cecee also apologized for calling the content creator a "loser."
Meanwhile, Zazzastack is the subject of a boycott by Marvel Rivals players, who quit matches when they see her on their team. Her boyfriend, Kaplunk, made his X account private amid backlash over the document. On the other hand, BasimZB has told the internet to "get over" the drama.
Infinity Mice, an esports peripherals company that sponsored Cecee, dropped her over the controversy. The company has since then offered Kingsman a free mousepad.
Atlanta Hawks then mocked the streamer's former teammates on TikTok. The NBA team noted that the controversy was "funny."
"This whole drama is so funny," the caption stated.

Kingsman shared a Google Doc showing that Cecee requested him to delete his YouTube video
The Twitch streamer released a Google Doc on January 21, the day after his viral YouTube video was posted. He added screenshots of messages with Cecee in their Discord server.
The content creator claimed that Kaplunk allegedly conspired with a team member to get him banned. He noted that the team member was Cecee. Notably, this claim is unverified and only a speculation.
The streamer then showed that Cecee had asked him to delete the hour-long video, as it led netizens to swarm her Discord server, Instagram, TikTok, and streams to leave negative comments.
Hey everyone! I originally wasn't planning on posting this, but the first screenshot kinda messed with my vibes a bit. So here it is...https://t.co/Z5NjxpKGt2

Cecee claimed that the gamer seemingly insinuated that she got him banned, and the online hate was giving him panic attacks. She then told the Marvel Rivals streamer that he supposedly insulted Zazzastack for an hour, and now he was reportedly throwing her under the bus.
"Thanks for throwing me under the fucking bus and into unlimited harassment for x amount of weeks if not months. Get your fucking clicks now all because your own actions got you banned and you can't accept that," Cecee wrote.
Kingsman refused to delete the video, and as of now, he has gained thousands of new viewers on his Twitch account. In a recent gameplay stream, he asked his new audience to stop donating to him, as he had collected more than the tournament's $3,000 per player prize.
