Right after the team's tough 124-122 loss at home against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, the franchise guard kept it simple as he was asked about what was communicated to him from the Grizzlies about why they’re listening to trade offers.

“I’m sorry y’all that wasn’t able to come to London, but I’m done with those questions,” he said.

Per the reporters, Morant handled and answered the question in a professional manner.

Ahead of the Feb. 5 deadline, Morant was notably placed on the trade block by the Grizzlies. Several teams, such as the Miami Heat were pegged as his potential next destination.

But following the Grizzlies' 126-107 win in London last weekend, Morant silenced the noise and made it clear that he is committed to Memphis.

Morant's team-high 23 points and 13 assists were wasted in Memphis' Wednesday loss against Atlanta. Many were wondering why head coach Tuomas Iisalo didn't call one of his two timeouts when the Grizzlies grabbed the game's final possession.

But Morant set the record straight that he has to be held accountable for his five turnovers.

"I don't think that last play is the reason we lost the game," Morant said, who missed the potential game-winning trey. "It is what it is. I had a lot of turnovers that put us in that position. It's a lot of other things we could've changed.

"If you want to talk about that possession, I could've let Jaylen [Wells] drive it up, we could've called timeout, I could've passed the ball, I could've found a better shot, but we're on the other side of it. So it's over."
