The Oklahoma City Thunder were simply too much to handle for the undermanned Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
Powered by a stellar performance by reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder got past Milwaukee for a 122-102 victory by the defending league champions.
The former Kentucky Wildcats star torched Milwaukee for 40 points to go along with 11 assists and seven rebounds. Milwaukee, playing without Myles Turner and Kevin Porter Jr., couldn’t slow down SGA, who shot 16-for-=19 from the field and made both of his attempts from behind the arc in 33 minutes of action.
