All the early injury news surrounding Chelsea and Crystal Palace as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.

The Blues are two points off the top four coming into this one, while Palace are in poor form and have slipped to 13th in the league following a defeat to Sunderland last weekend. The Eagles are having a tough time of things as they prepare to begin life without captain Marc Guehi. Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding each of the two teams.

Daichi Kamada - Out

Kamada is out until some time in February. Glasner said in December: “It is how it looked. It’s a serious hamstring injury, and he will be out for at least 8-10 weeks. It’s not a normal muscle injury; it was just an incident with his landing - he overstretched everything, the full weight on the front, and that’s why it happens.”

Cheick Doucoure - Out

Doucoure had a setback in December and is not expected back until early February.

Rio Cardines - Out

Glasner said in mid-December: “Rio had a few weeks ago a setback - a muscle injury. I don’t know exactly [how long he will be out] - four or five or six weeks.”

Nathaniel Clyne - Fit

Clyne is expected to return from a groin issue here.

Daniel Munoz - Fit

Glasner has confirmed: “Dani has had one training session so far, but will be back next week for the next Chelsea game.”

Eddie Nketiah - Out

Nketiah has been out with a hamstring injury and there has been no indication he will return here.

Caleb Kporha - Out

Kporta has been out for a while with a back injury and there has been no recent update on his availability.

Tosin Adarabioyo - Out

Rosenior has now confirmed: “Unfortunately for Tosin, there's something in his hamstring that is going to rule him out for the next few weeks.”

Romeo Lavia - Out

Lavia is not ready to return yet, but he has returned to training. Rosenior said last week: “Romeo is on the pitch, he’s not with the group yet, but we can see him out on the grass doing his rehab. He is looking really, really good. The most important thing for him now is to make sure we don't push him too hard, so that when he does come back, he's back for good.”

Levi Colwill - Out

Colwill is out for the season with a serious knee injury. It was confirmed back in August: “Levi has today undergone successful surgery [for] an ACL injury. Medical assessments confirmed surgery would be the required course of action. Levi will now begin his recovery and be supported by the medical department at Cobham during his rehab phase.”

Mykhailo Mudryk - Out (Suspended)

Mudryk is suspended. A club statement in the summer read: “We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Regulations 3 and 4 of The FA's Anti-Doping Regulations. As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time.” Mudryk is not included in the final count due to the nature of his absence.
