Arsenal attacker Ethan Nwaneri has spoken for the first time since moving to Marseille on loan after the Gunners decided to let the attacker leave the club on loan for the foreseeable future.
Despite being one of the most talented young attackers that ARSENAL have right now, Nwaneri has now been able to get the game time that he would have liked and he is now heading to France on a loan deal with Marseille.
The 18-year-old’s move to France will be a straight loan without a permanent option, and after arriving in France, the talented star said: “It’s one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and I’m ready to help the team,” Nwaneri told reporters outside Marseille Airport.
“He [De Zerbi] is one of the best coaches in the world, he’s demanding. And I’m ready to play under him and listen to what he wants from the team.”
Asked about Nwaneri after Marseille’s 3-0 loss to Liverpool, Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi said: “He’s a very good player, he’s important for us because we are playing many games in a row.
“We need new energy, fresh energy and fresh players.”

There are players that fans would hate to see leave on a permanent basis, Nwaneri is one of those stars that Gunners fans would like to see stay and make a name for himself in that Arsenal shirt.
But with all the quality that ARSENAL have in attack, this move does make sense and to be honest, he needs some game time and Marseille should give him that, they have an attack that would suit his style.
But that option for a permanent deal at the end of the season is a strange one, We did not think Arsenal would allow him to leave on a permanent basis?
