Liverpool are keen on reviving their interest in Andre, according to reports in the Brazilian media.
The Reds originally tried to sign the midfielder in the summer of 2023 when he was at Fluminense.
While Andre eventually ended up signing for Wolves a year later, it appears the Merseysiders are still keen on recruiting him.

RTI Esporte claim that Arne Slot’s side “intend to submit an official proposal” this month as they look to reinforce their options in the middle of the park.
How much would Liverpool need to pay?
Wolves spent around €22m (£19m) to bring Andre to Molineux in August 2024, but as they are now at risk of being relegated, there appears to be a willingness to sell while his value is still relatively high.
A fee of around €30m (£26m) could be enough to secure his signature before the January transfer window closes, but the Reds are not the only ones interested.
Palmeiras are also said to be keeping close tabs on Andre, but the fee could prove to be more of an obstacle for them than the current Premier League champions.
Andre has revealed how close he came to moving to Anfield
Speaking a couple of months after the transfer window closed in 2023, the midfielder confirmed that a bid was tabled by the Reds, but he said he had given his word to remain at Fluminense:
“It really was an irrefutable proposal for the club that it was, for the big league. I think every player one day dreams of playing for a big club in Europe, in a big league. But I decided to keep my word because, when the January window closed [at the start of the year], [Fernando] Diniz arrived and told me that he wanted me here until the end of the year. We didn’t know that a proposal of this value would arrive.”
As it was, Andre did leave Fluminense less than a year later for the Premier League. Let’s see if his dream of playing for Liverpool comes true this time.
