Latest Chelsea injury news and potential return dates after the Blues claimed a 1-0 win over Pafos in the Champions League

Here, football.london takes a look at the latest Chelsea injury news and potential return dates following the win over Pafos in the Champions League...

Cole Palmer (Thigh/Groin): Palmer missed the midweek match against Pafos due to some “tightness" in his thigh. Liam Rosenior described the move as precautionary and expects him to be available soon. Potential return date: January 25 (vs. Crystal Palace).

Filip Jorgensen (Knock): The goalkeeper was forced off at half-time against Pafos after picking up a knock. The severity is currently being assessed. Potential return date: Late January 2026.

Tosin Adarabioyo (Hamstring): Adarabioyo sustained a hamstring injury during the win over Brentford last weekend. He is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks. Potential return date: Mid-February 2026.

Romeo Lavia (Thigh): Lavia been out since November but recently returned to individual training at Cobham. While he is progressing well, he is still not back with the rest of the first-team group. Potential return date: Late February 2026.

Levi Colwill (ACL): Colwill is continuing his long-term rehabilitation following surgery on a torn ACL sustained last summer. He is unlikely to feature again this campaign. Potential return date: June 2026 (Pre-season).

Positive news: Estevao Willian , Jamie Bynoe-Gittens , and Enzo Fernandez all returned to the matchday squad for the Pafos game following a bout of illness that had affected the camp.

Reece James was also withdrawn at half-time against Pafos, but the club confirmed this was planned minute-management rather than a fresh injury.
