The Sacramento Kings are reportedly eyeing RJ Barrett as the primary player in return in a potential trade for Domantas Sabonis.

One player the Raptors have reportedly been monitoring ahead of the trade deadline is Sacramento Kings star center Domantas Sabonis.
According to NBA reporter Evan Sidery, the Raptors and Kings have recently engaged in exploratory trade discussions centered around Sabonis. Sidery adds that Sacramento has identified a key Raptors forward as the primary piece they would want in return.
"The Kings and Raptors have recently conducted exploratory trade talks centered on Domantas Sabonis," Sidery reported.
"Sacramento is eyeing RJ Barrett as the primary player in return," he added.
Sabonis has missed 27 games this season after suffering a partially torn meniscus in his left knee.
Since returning from injury, he has appeared in three games and is averaging 19.3 minutes per contest, posting 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. Those numbers are down from his season averages of 15.4 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 30 minutes per game.
Barrett, meanwhile, has also dealt with injuries this season. He has appeared in 23 games, averaging 19.6 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
