Knicks trade package for Jose Alvarado proposed

In this proposed trade scenario, the Knicks would send Guerschon Yabusele and Pacome Dadiet to the Pelicans in exchange for Jose Alvarado and Yves Missi.

The New York Knicks are reportedly strongly interested in acquiring New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado at the trade deadline, and this is what a potential deal could look like.

New Orleans Pelicans / Schedule

New York Post reporter Stefan Bondy proposed a trade that would send two Knicks French forwards to the Pelicans in exchange for Alvarado and Yves Missi.

Full trade:

Knicks receive:

Jose Alvarado

Yves Missi

Pelicans receive:

Pacome Dadiet

Guerschon Yabusele

Second-round pick

"We know the Knicks have been eyeing Alvarado and his ballhandling and toughness for a while. We also know Yabusele and Dadiet are not getting any burn with the Knicks and are on the trading block. This is a way to satisfy a couple of goals—while also landing a needed backup center in Missi—but at the expense of a future draft pick," Bondy explained.

Additionally, NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported that the Knicks have already contacted the Pelicans about both Alvarado and Missi, with Yabusele potentially included in that package.
