Per Jake Fischer, the Warriors will be on the hunt for both Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James.
The Golden State Warriors are set to go all-in for two of the game's biggest stars.
According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Warriors are planning to join the Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes and entertain the possibility of having LeBron James on their side this upcoming summer.
"Sources say that the Warriors naturally do plan to feature prominently in the trade mix for Milwaukee's Antetokounmpo if he truly becomes available via trade this offseason while also exploring the prospect of teaming James with Stephen Curry at last once LeBron becomes an unrestricted free agent on June 30," Fischer wrote in his latest report.
The Warriors are facing uncertainty in their chances to win it all again following the torn ACL injury of Jimmy Butler. They are currently 8th in the West with a 25-20 record.
Ever since, Golden State has been a prominent potential landing spot for Antetokounmpo. Everyone is monitoring what might be the next step between the Greek star and the Milwaukee Bucks in the wake of a disappointing 2025-26 season.
The idea of James getting paired with Stephen Curry has been many NBA fans' fantasies, considering that the two are still on the hunt for their title No. 5. The 41-year-old superstar holds an expiring $52.6 million salary and will be an unrestricted free agent.
How this challenging 2025-26 season will end for them would serve as the absolute driving force of the Warriors in approaching the offseason.
