A look Liverpool and Everton's revenue figures compared to their Premier League rivals

Liverpool and Everton both benefit from various different sources of revenue due to being in the Premier League. They make money from sponsorship deals, shirt sales, tickets, merchandise and more. It is no secret that there is some big cash to be made in the English game.

The Reds will also get additional income from competing in the Champions League. They are hoping to go all the way in that competition again this year if possible. They beat Marseille 3-0 last time out on Wednesday night at the Stade Velodrome.

Liverpool have biggest revenue in Premier League

Liverpool have received the most revenue out of all the English teams ahead of rivals like Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. They sit 5th in the Money League table behind Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and PSG. Meanwhile, Everton find themselves in 23rd just behind Brighton and Hove Albion and above Crystal Palace.

The Toffees moved into the Hill Dickinson Stadium last year and are currently in their first campaign in their new home. Ticket sales have been strong as fans flock to see their sparkling new ground in person. David Moyes’ men have had an impressive term so far and won away at Aston Villa in their last game.

Deloitte Sports Business Group lead partner Tim Bridge has said, as per BBC Sport: "If you went back 10 or 15 years, and you looked at Manchester United's matchday revenue it was the industry leader. If you looked at their ability to generate commercial revenue, it was the benchmark by which everybody then went to market and set their strategy. I don't think that remains the case."

Bridge added: "On-pitch performance remains a primary driver for clubs to progress to the upper echelons of the ranking, with many clubs benefiting from new and expanded European and international club tournaments," said Bridge. In the 2024-25 season, Money League clubs on average played more games than the season before, reflecting the growth of competitions and sporting performance of many in the ranking.

"While this presents substantial financial opportunity, a balance must be struck between revenue optimisation and protecting both the value of the on-field product and player welfare amidst ever-increasing fixture schedules."
