On Thursday's 123-115 loss against the Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry officially became the first player in NBA history with a total of 10,000 three-point attempts.
Curry netted 38 points and was 8-of-15 from beyond the arc. He entered the night having 9,992 attempts.
Curry hit the 10,000 mark during the first half and now has a total of 10,007 attempts.
It was a compelling feat for the two-time MVP. Curry holds the most triples made in league history with 4,222 treys and counting. He surpassed Ray Allen's regular-season record of 2,973 three-pointers five years ago.
This season, Curry is averaging 27.4 points while shooting 39.2 percent from downtown, along with 4.9 assists and 3.7 boards across 36 games.
