After winning a game of football, Manchester United fans are convinced that they are going to be signing Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer in the coming months.

Palmer missed the Champions League game against Pafos due to a minor problem, and his stuttered start to the campaign has seen him score just five goals in all competitions so far.

Cole Palmer joining Chelsea is a ‘non starter’
This has led to United supporters making the connection that their side are able to sign him, holding on to the fact that a picture exists of him in their shirt when he was a child.
Chelsea fans have nothing to worry about though. Transfer insider Ben Jacobs told TheUnitedStand that he has not heard anything of the sort, and he believes the transfer rumour is a ‘non starter’.
He said: “I am not aware of Manchester United trying for Cole Palmer. It’s clear he loved living in Manchester but it’s unclear if there has been a turning point in London where he is now unhappy.
“Chelsea don’t want to sell, so it feels like a non starter and I’d be surprised if United made a move for another 10 following Mbeumo and Cunha signings.”

However, reports are stating that Enzo Maresca is one of the favourites to replace the Spaniard should he decide his time in the Premier League is up.
There have been rumours that Palmer could join Maresca at the Etihad, keeping up their relationship from their time at Stamford Bridge.
Todd Boehly and co have copped a lot of flack for how they run the club, but the fact they have agreed a contract with Palmer that lasts another seven years puts them in a great position when it comes to interest in him.
