When we face Chelsea in any competition, it is always a mouthwatering clash and we've enjoyed some memorable moments against the Blues down the years.
That includes many games on our travels when we head to the home of the west Londoners for a London derby, and here are some of the best:
**July 5, 2012**
**Chelsea 2-4 Arsenal**
At Wheatsheaf Park in Staines, Kelly Smith came off the bench to earn us a hard-fought three points.
Laura Harvey’s side were heading towards our first defeat of the campaign before the striker’s introduction on 55 minutes. Danni Buet’s first-half brace - one from a direct corner and the other a penalty - put Chelsea in command at the break after Kim Little had slotted us ahead inside 10 minutes.
However Smith came to the fore as she first headed home from Alex Scott’s pinpoint cross before firing a superb second 10 minutes from time. Little added a second of her own five minutes from time to put the seal on an impressive comeback and maintain our unbeaten start to the WSL campaign.
**August 29, 2013**
**Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal**
We closed the gap between ourselves and league leaders Liverpool to two points after a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Wheatsheaf Park.
In a keenly-contested encounter, Danielle Carter’s strike on the half-hour proved the difference between the sides.
Rachel Yankey’s delivery from the right was not sufficiently cleared, allowing Little to swing in an inviting cross. Ellen White met it at the back post and intelligently diverted the ball into the path of the onrushing Carter, who eventually stabbed home her seventh goal of the season from inside the six-yard box.
**July 17, 2016**
**Chelsea 1-2 Arsenal**
We came from a goal behind to secure a dramatic win over Chelsea in 2016. It was not the best of starts for us though, with the hosts taking the lead in the 10th minute when Alex Scott misplaced a backpass beyond Sari van Veenendaal and into the net.
But, after Jordan Nobbs had twice gone close, Pedro Martinez Losa’s side levelled one minute before half-time, with Vicky Losada heading past Hedvig Lindahl from a corner.
The victory was wrapped up in the 84th minute, when Danielle van de Donk fired home from a tight angle to earn us the win.
**May 17, 2017**
**Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal**
Two injury-time strikes saw us share the spoils with Chelsea. Jodie Taylor gave us a first-half lead when she tapped home after seeing her penalty saved, but Millie Bright headed the hosts level in the second period, setting up a grandstand finale.
Nobbs rattled the crossbar from 30 yards, with Gemma Davison seeing a strike chalked off for offside with just two minutes remaining.
Drew Spence converted late on to seemingly steal a late win for the hosts, before Nobbs' last-gasp flick saw us leave with a point.
**October 14, 2018**
**Chelsea 0-5 Arsenal**
We produced a stunning display to beat champions Chelsea 5-0 at Kingsmeadow. Adelina Engman brought down Emma Mitchell inside the box following a lung-busting run down the left wing - and Little made no mistake from 12 yards for our opening goal.
Then, Little received the ball high up the pitch and charged at the defence before slipping in Vivianne Miedema who fired past Carly Telford, and Nobbs made it three with a fine strike from the tightest of angles
Joe Montemurro’s side were playing with real confidence by this point, and less than five minutes later Miedema scored her second of the afternoon after being teed up by Beth Mead, who also created our fifth. Racing down the right wing, she played an inch-perfect pass into the path of Nobbs, who fizzed a shot into the bottom corner.
