“I wanted to sign Tino when I was at Fulham but there wasn't an option there for us. I've seen him play for many years, come up against him in the Champions League with Club Brugge as well and I see his quality. I think you’ve seen it here as well.”
“His game is suited for the Premier League, the physicality, how he gets around the pitch, he's a disrupter. He showed his quality as well at the weekend [against Liverpool], so I've been really pleased for him.
"It’s a different culture for him as well, coming over, a young family, probably very different to Lisbon, but he's fitted in really, really well and full credit to him.”
