Everton are starting to look more and more unlikely to sign a new player this month, but the club are being tipped to make an eye-catching move this summer.
There is now just over a week left in the transfer window for Everton to get any business done.
But it was recently suggested Everton won’t spend big and that loans are more likely, which came as a disappointment to a lot of fans.
What will you think about TFG if Everton don’t address their needs in the winter window? 🤔

The injury to Jack Grealish may see Everton look to sign a winger though.
We’ll see what happens, but potentially a frustrating end to the window is in store.
The summer will be far busier at Everton, with a number of positions in need of an upgrade.
And one publication has boldly claimed that Everton could go after Harry Maguire.

According to The Daily Briefing, Everton are one of a few sides who could look to make an offer for Harry Maguire this summer.
Maguire’s contract at United is expiring and he’ll be available on a free transfer should he not extend at Old Trafford.
He is considered highly likely to depart, with a number of clubs on his tail such as Chelsea, Bournemouth, West Ham United, Napoli and AS Roma – owned of course by The Friedkin Group.
Chelsea are said to see Maguire as someone who could come in and have a similar impact to what Thiago Silva did.
Everton are mentioned too, and of course are no strangers to signing players who’ve had an affiliation with United.
Maguire could well seek a new chapter, as he’ll have competed seven seasons at Old Trafford following his £80 million transfer (BBC Sport) from Leicester City in 2019.
David Moyes once considered signing Harry Maguire at Man United
It will be fascinating to see if Everton do go for Maguire this summer, as David Moyes debated signing him when he was Manchester United manager.
The reason he opted against it though was due to Maguire’s physique.
He told talkSPORT in 2019: “We didn’t try to sign him [during his spell at Man United] but we flagged him up at that time.
“I was very aware of the players in the lower leagues and had made a good career out of bringing them to Everton – whether that be Tim Cahill or all the ones we did through the years.

“Harry Maguire was another one I recognised. He played against Preston North End at home in a league game and I watched him and thought he played really well but at that time he was really big.
“You thought ‘My goodness, how big is Harry going to be’, because he was a relatively young boy at that time.
“To be fair he looks in terrific shape and he hasn’t changed at all really. When I went to United, we had Vidic, Rio, Jonny Evans, Michael Keane, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling so for us to go and buy another young centre-half wasn’t the biggest thing we needed at the time.
“And Harry Maguire has had to go on his journey. Sometimes the players need the journey to get to where they have to go. He might have struggled then.”
Everton will need a new centre-back this summer given James Tarkowski’s age and Michael Keane’s potential to leave on a free. One concern with Maguire may well be his age though, given he turns 33 in a couple of months.
