Richardson officially signed a deal with Spanish team Casademont Zaragoza until the end of the season, with a ten-day trial period.

After being drafted by the Miami Heat in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft, the 32-year-old spent 10 seasons playing in the NBA, appearing for six different teams, including the Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs, and New Orleans Pelicans.

He has appeared in more than 550 games, averaging 11.5 points, 3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and over 28 minutes per game during his ten NBA seasons.

Last season, he appeared in eight games for the Miami Heat, playing around 18 minutes per game and averaging 4 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.

This season, Zaragoza is competing in both the Spanish Liga Endesa and the FIBA Europe Cup.

In the Spanish League, they are currently 14th with a 6–10 record. Meanwhile, in the FIBA Europe Cup, they have reached the second round, where they are third in a four-team group with a 1–2 record.
