Mikel Arteta speaks to members of the press before Arsenal play Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners have a seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table after their Sunday opponents beat their city rivals last weekend.
Kai Havertz has reportedly suffered fitness concerns after his return from injury, which Arteta is likely to be asked about. Further updates on Riccardo Calafiori, Piero Hincapie, and Max Dowman are also expected.
Arteta is taking on a new coach in Michael Carrick, yet another Manchester United opponent to assess during his six-year-plus tenure. A win here would tick off another tricky opponent from the remaining 16 fixtures.
Updates will follow in our **football.london** pre-match press conference below.

Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie have both returned to Arsenal training with their teammates ahead of the clash with Manchester United. Sky Sports cameras spotted the pair at the Sobha Realty Training Centre.
Mikel Arteta is due to speak in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, and the boost of the pair being with the squad is significant.
Both have been missing for several weeks. Hincapie came off against Liverpool after lasting 57 minutes, and Arteta was hopeful it was not too serious.
