Liam Rosenior has just taken his press conference ahead of the game against Crystal Palace this week, and after some bad weeks of illness and injury he’s had some good news to tell us on all fronts.

“In terms of sickness, the players are coming back to full health,” Rosenior explained to the media.
“We had to be very careful with that. Thankfully the lads have come through that. Cole [Palmer] is in a good place, he joined training today which is really positive. [Filip] Jorgensen had his scan and it was positive. He won’t be available for Palace but might be for Napoli.”
The biggest news is of course on Palmer. The great news is that he trained today, and if he doesn’t have any negative reaction to the session today we expect he’ll start on Sunday after a week off.
But the focus remains on his long term health, and Rosenior has shown that he’s not afraid to leave out his star man if he thinks it’s necessary. The brutal truth is that his form hasn’t been great of late, and we might benefit from a different setup, even if he is capable of playing.
We all want the same thing here – a happy, fit and and in-form Palmer for the rest of the season.
