Marc Guehi is set to make his City debut, following his £20m moved from Crystal Palace. Max Alleyne, who endured a difficult evening in the midweek defeat to Bodo/Glimt, is likely to make way in the centre of defence.
Nico Gonzalez hasn't recovered from a knock suffered against Brighton, whilst Matheus Nunes is still suffering from the flu.
The Blues' confidence has been rocked by successive defeats in the derby and in Norway, but Pep Guardiola is hoping that the arrival of Guehi will give his team a lift.
“It’ll help us because Marc is exceptional,” he said at Friday's press conference.
“A player for the national team, a captain for the team who won the FA Cup last season.
“They made an incredible season with Oliver Glasner and this season they struggled for themselves and the injuries as well.
“But I have the feeling, that fragility is not just about one player. It would be nice but it’s not just about that.
“I know what the solution is to make us not have the fragility.”
City won their last home game against Wolves 1-0, with a goal from Kevin De Bruyne. Overall City have won 58 of the 132 games played against the Hammers, with 25 draws and 49 defeats.
Predicted line-up: Donnarumma, Khusanov, Guehi, Ake, O'Reilly, Rodri, Silva, Semenyo, Marmoush, Haaland
Score prediction: City 3 Wolves 1
