Mo Salah, Joe Gomez To Start; Robertson Benched: Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs Bournemouth

Liverpool are preparing for a trip to the South Coast to play against Bournemouth on Saturday evening.

The Reds come off a superb 3-0 win against Marseille in the Champions League, in what was a real statement game for Egypt winger Mo Salah.

Salah returned from AFCON, and Arne Slot decided to put him straight back into the starting XI, which proved to be a great decision as he warranted a player of the match performance in Southern France.

It isn’t clear whether all between Slot and Salah is resolved, but based on what we saw in midweek, it certainly looks like it. Will he be in the line-up against Bournemouth this weekend? See below our predicted XI for the Premier League clash.

Kerkez starts ahead of Robertson amid Spurs links

GK – Alisson – The Brazil goalkeeper should expect to start yet again on Saturday, hoping to keep the Cherries quiet.

LB – Milos Kerkez – Seeing as reports are linking Robertson with a move to Tottenham, Kerkez will likely start against his former side.

CB – Virgil Van Dijk – The Dutchman starts yet again, as he always does, hoping to build on his recent improved form.

CB – Joe Gomez –Ibrahima Konate missed the Marseille match due to a personal issue, so we predict Gomez to start this weekend.

RB – Jeremie Frimpong – With Gomez starting in the centre, Frimpong will likely start at right-back on Saturday.

Szoboszlai starts amid his impressive Liverpool form

CM – Ryan Gravenberch – Gravenberch keeps his regular holding midfield spot that he has help since Slot’s arrival at the club.

CM – Dominic Szoboszlai – The Hungary international has arguably been Liverpool’s best player so far this season.

CM – Alexis MacAllister – Curtis Jones could get the start here, but we think Slot will keep his midfield the same after the Marseille win.

Salah starts alongside Wirtz and Ekitike up front

LW – Florian Wirtz – Wirtz has seen his form improve a lot in recent weeks, he’ll hope to keep it going with a goal against Bournemouth.

RW – Mo Salah – Salah gets the start again, because if there are no issues with him and Slot, he has to start.

ST – Hugo Ekitike – With Alexander Isak still out injured, Ekitike continues to start in the striker role for the Reds.
