Chelsea face yet another London derby on Sunday when they visit Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The Blues faced fellow London sides Charlton Athletic, Brentford, and Arsenal in Liam Rosenior’s first three matches in charge, before hosting Cypriot outfit Pafos in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Rosenior, who was named Chelsea’s head coach earlier this month following the departure of Enzo Maresca, will now take his side to Selhurst Park as they continue their bid to finish in the top four and qualify for next season’s Champions League.
In the meantime, it is emerging that the west London outfit are surprise contenders to sign a Manchester United and England star.
As per CaughtOffside, Chelsea have emerged as potential suitors for Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
The Englishman’s current contract with the Red Devils is set to expire at the end of the season, and the report suggests that he is set to leave Old Trafford as a free agent.

Chelsea have emerged as contenders to sign the 32-year-old, as the Blues are keen to add an experienced defender to their young backline.
Maguire joined United from Leicester City back in 2019 for a fee of £80 million, making him the most expensive defender in football history at the time.
He has since made more than 250 appearances for the Manchester outfit across all competitions, although he has featured just nine times so far this term and has only started five of United’s Premier League games.
It is also claimed that the Englishman could receive offers from fellow Premier League sides West Ham United, Everton, or Bournemouth if he decides to leave United this summer, while Italian sides Napoli and Roma have also been credited with an interest in the player.
