Chelsea travel across London to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
New Blues head coach Liam Rosenior has taken charge of his new side in four matches across four competitions since taking charge of the club earlier this month, overseeing three wins.
Rosenior will hope to see his side build on their narrow 1-0 win against Cypriot side Pafos in the Champions League last time out when they visit Selhurst Park, with the Blues having defeated Brentford in his first Premier League game in charge.
Now, away from the action, it is emerging that Chelsea are pondering a shock move to sign a La Liga superstar.
As per Fichajes, via TEAMtalk, the west London outfit are considering a staggering offer of around £86.7 million for Barcelona attacking midfielder, Fermin Lopez.
The report claims that Chelsea are long-term admirers of the Spaniard, having considered a move to sign the player last summer.

While a move didn’t materialise last year, it is suggested that the Blues could reignite their interest amid uncertainty surrounding Cole Palmer’s future at Stamford Bridge.
Lopez, 22, joined Barcelona’s youth setup as a teenager and has now made more than 100 appearances for the Spanish giants since breaking into the first team.
The Spain international has scored 29 goals and provided 21 assists for Barcelona at senior level, including a combined 20 goals and assists in 21 matches so far this term.
It is claimed that new Chelsea boss Rosenior has identified the attacking midfielder as a top transfer target, with the ex-Hull City boss believing that the player could become a linchpin for his side.
Lopez is under contract in Catalonia until the end of the 2028/29 campaign, but it appears that the Blues may attempt to lure him to London in the coming months.
