Liam Rosenior says there's one Chelsea player he wouldn't change for anyone in world football

Liam Rosenior is starting to get a lot closer with his Chelsea players, and it’s beginning to show on the pitch.

Chelsea are on a two-game winning streak, but there are still some teething problems. The defensive side of things raised a few concerns due to the gaps that were being left against Pafos.

However, Liam Rosenior‘s system is a testing one, and it will take time to get right, so it’s a bit of a teething period at the moment.

One player who hasn’t been able to have much of an impact is Cole Palmer, despite his penalty against Brentford, as he’s been struggling for fitness.

That hasn’t changed Liam Rosenior’s opinion of him, though.

Liam Rosenior pays Cole Palmer the biggest compliment

The bizarre Cole Palmer to Manchester United rumours have already been put to bed, with the midfielder committing his future to Chelsea.

And Rosenior wasted no time in bigging up his star man (as per Daily Mail).

“A fully fit Cole, firing, I wouldn’t change him for any player in world football in his position.”

It’s a big claim from Rosenior, but it’s hard to argue with him. When Palmer is on his game, he’s undoubtedly one of the best players in world football.

Do Chelsea need a central midfielder this month?🤔

Cole Palmer needs to get back to his best

With the recent departure of Facundo Buonanotte and injuries to other midfielders, Andrey Santos and Enzo Fernandez have been used in the advanced midfield role.

Estevao Willian provides further depth, allowing the team to maintain a high level of creativity even when Palmer is being managed for fitness, but they do lack attacking midfield options.

Joao Pedro can play central and has done so this season, but his form has dipped.

Palmer’s penalty against Brentford has hopefully given him the confidence to really kick on now.
