Liverpool are missing six players and Federico Chiesa‘s availability is in doubt as they face Bournemouth, a team also facing injury issues.
Both teams will have relatively inexperienced benches at the Vitality Stadium, as Arne Slot and Andoni Iraola contend with absences from their respective first teams.

The main piece of team news was delivered in Slot’s Friday press conference as he confirmed Ibrahima Konate won’t be involved after the death of his father.
Liverpool’s centre-half missed the Reds’ win over Marseille and will be absent for their trip to Bournemouth, Slot explaining: “The player needs time to be there for his family and also time for himself.”
Meanwhile, Chiesa may return to the squad but is a doubt after picking up a knock in the warm-up before Liverpool’s win over Marseille.
“There was a recovery session yesterday, so we have to wait and see today,” Slot said.
“It’s difficult to say if he is available for Bournemouth. We don’t expect him to be out for long, so it would be 50-50 maybe if he is available for tomorrow.
“For the rest, at this moment in time, no one picked up a knock, no one had a problem after the game.
“But yeah, sometimes when you start training again you can feel something. I expect everyone, all the same players, to be available for tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni remain out until the end of the season with knee and ACL injuries, respectively.
Additionally, Alexander Isak continues his recovery from a fibula fracture that will likely keep him out until late March.
Jayden Danns and Stefan Bajcetic are also still absent, the pair hoping to return from hamstring problems in February.
Bournemouth are also dealing with injury issues, Iraola missing at least seven of his first-team squad.
Ben Gannon-Doak, Justin Kluivert, Marcus Tavernier, Tyler Adams, David Brooks, William Dennis and Julio Soler are all absent, but attacker Enes Unal “could have a chance” of returning, according to their manager.
However, the Cherries’ new £10.4 million midfield acquisition from Ferencvaros, Alex Toth, is now “definitely available.”
