Liam Rosenior has utilised a large amount of Chelsea’s first team squad in his first four games in charge, however one player yet to be seen is Mykhailo Mudryk.
Even Axel Disasi has returned to training with the first team, although Mudryk’s suspension keeps him out of being able to compete.
Despite rumours, it has been reported that Mudryk has not returned to training at Cobham, and is still very much on the sidelines at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca was forced to go around a year without being able to use the winger, and that tenure looks set to continue well into Rosenior’s reign.

Liam Rosenior set for conversation with Mykhailo Mudryk
In fact, the new manager has confirmed to the Evening Standard that he is actually yet to have a conversation with Mudryk, although hinted this is coming soon.
He also stated that this will come after he has spoken to the board at the club to work out when the player would benefit from the new manager’s influence.
He said: “Not yet. It’s definitely something that I want to do, but there are many things I want to do and haven’t been able to do.
“But, no, he’s a magnificent player. He’s had a really difficult time and when the moment is right for me and him and the club, I’ll definitely have a conversation with him.
“The time is right when I speak with the board and the sporting directors and when it’s right that he’s in a place where I can have an impact, in a positive way, on his career.”

With Mudryk unavailable for selection, Chelsea have reacted by bringing in a number of new wingers.

Jamie Gittens, Estevao Wilian and Alejandro Garnacho all joined the club over the summer, and their age suggests they are in the long-term plans for them.
It remains to be seen if Mudryk will ever play for Chelsea again, however it looks as if Chelsea have covered all bases.
