Schoolboy defender Elyon Mbala is set to make his debut for Arsenal U18s away to Southampton today.
Midfielders Mishel Nduka and Emerson Nwaneri, who have already featured at higher levels, have also been named in the starting lineup. It is Nduka’s debut for the U18s, while Nwaneri has made one previous appearance at this level.
Another schoolboy, forward Joshua Sesay, has received his second callup at this level as he has been named on the bench.
Arsenal are without a host of the more experienced U18 players who started for the U21s last night.
Ceadach O’Neill, who has frequently impressed for the U18s this season, also isn’t involved today.
