Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has suffered a recurrence of a knee injury that has kept him out for the majority of the season, according to reports.
The Daily Mail journalist Isaan Khan claims that the German international has had a flare-up, and it could mean that he has to manage the problem over the long term, having already undergone surgery.

Let’s see what Arteta says
This specific reporter made claims about Havertz’s fitness last month that proved to be incorrect, so supporters would be best advised to wait for an update from the club itself.
Manager Mikel Arteta can be less than forthcoming when it comes to injuries, but he will likely be asked about the forward’s current status in a press conference.
Havertz is unlikely to play for Arsenal this weekend
The fact that the 26-year-old didn’t play any minutes against Inter Milan midweek would suggest that he may not feature versus Manchester United on Sunday evening either.
It will, however, be interesting to see whether Havertz makes an appearance against Kairat next week. It is effectively a dead rubber for the Gunners, so it would be a good opportunity for the German to get some minutes. If he isn’t in the starting lineup, or at the very least used as a second half substitute, more questions will be asked.
