Liverpool could be facing a battle to retain one of its most promising talents, with one of the club's academy stars already taking a leaf out of Trent Alexander-Arnold's book. The right-back is naturally the most prominent name to have come through the Anfield ranks in recent years, having been instrumental in the club's triumphs under Jurgen Klopp and cementing his status as one of the globe's finest players before his switch to Real Madrid last summer.
Additional players might soon be heading to the Bernabeu. Ibrahima Konate has been touted for a transfer to the Spanish capital, though reports have indicated Real may have tempered its interest, whilst one Liverpool youngster could already be attracting attention from the La Liga giants.
Teenage winger Joshua Abe has become one of the Reds' most exciting prospects, despite only celebrating his 15th birthday last July. Whilst he cannot sign professional terms until next year, the youngster has now joined PLG Agency, which is managed by Alexander-Arnold's brother Tyler.

The agency represents a host of familiar faces, including Alexander-Arnold himself, alongside Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson and West Ham's Jarrod Bowen.
Responding to a post from PLG on Instagram welcoming Abe to the agency, Alexander-Arnold commented: "Never in doubt," accompanied by a handshaking emoji.
Abe's transition to formal representation with PLG follows his visit to Madrid last month, where the youngster was photographed with Alexander-Arnold and his brother on the Bernabeu turf following a 2-0 victory for Los Blancos against Sevilla.
He was also snapped alongside Vinicius Jr, having been given a signed jersey from the Brazilian sensation and Jude Bellingham, sparking speculation that Real could be attempting to entice Abe with a switch to the Spanish capital.
According to This Is Anfield, Abe is also under the watchful eye of Chelsea and Arsenal as Liverpool could encounter stiff competition for his long-term future.
Primarily deployed as a right-winger, Abe has the versatility to operate across the attacking line, and has already left quite the mark with the Reds' U18s.
He made his bow in that age bracket back in September, and has since featured six times for Simon Wiles' squad, finding the net and providing assists in matches against Manchester City and Nottingham Forest.
Abe arrived at Liverpool as an U9s player back in 2018, with Alexander-Arnold present to welcome him to the club. Since then, he has gone on to turn out for England at U15 and U16 levels.
