Schoolboys Joshua Sesay, Mishel Nduka and Elyon Mbala all made their debuts for Arsenal U18s in a 1-0 defeat away to Southampton today.
Fellow U16 players Emerson Nwaneri, Angelinou Pedro and Kyran Thompson also started for the young Gunners, who were without a host of regular players who featured for the U21s last night.

Nwaneri tried his luck in the first half with an effort that went just wide.
However, it was Southampton who took the lead early in the second half courtesy of Thierry Rohart-Brown.
Patrick Stachow replaced Mbala on the hour mark, with Sesay and Marley Frohock later entering the fray.
Southampton, though, managed to hold on and secure all three points.
Arsenal U18s are still without a league win since September, although the team today was considerably younger than usual.
