The Blues have been tipped to bolster their central defensive department and they are exploring a move for Jeremy Jacquet this winter. Rennes value the teenager at around €65m, but the Blues are reluctant to pay more than €45m for his services, as things stand. Amidst this, it is claimed that the west London giants are monitoring Min-jae's situation at Bayern and could make a summer move. Bayern have no plans of reshaping their backline in the current transfer window, but could be prepared to change things in July. The 29-year-old could be available for a package of around €40m and would provide some much-needed experience at the back for the Blues. Min-jae was previously a top target for Manchester United during his time at Napoli, but he opted to join the German champions.
His time with the Bavarian giants has been a mixed bag. The South Korean is now prepared to consider a Premier League move.
