BlueCo can win over Chelsea fans by avoiding Douglas Luiz deal and moving for experienced alternative

The relationship between the ownership at Chelsea and the club’s supporters is at it’ lowest point since the takeover of the club four years ago.

Blues fans protested before their recent Premier League game against Brentford, with Behdad Eghbali facing the brunt of their criticism.

One of the main lines of concern amongst the fanbase is the ongoing transfer policy, where experienced players are being overlooked in favour of promising young talents.

Recent reports have suggested the Blues are linked with signing Douglas Luiz on loan, however his poor form since moving to Nottingham Forest on loan have not left supporters confident this would be the best move to make.

Chelsea owners should pivot interest from Douglas Luiz to N’golo Kante

It has been claimed that N’golo Kante would be available on a short-term deal this month, and his status as a Chelsea legend would make this move a popular one amongst supporters.

After injury issues plagued his final years at Stamford Bridge, the Frenchman has enjoyed a strong run of fixtures at Al-Ittihad.

He has even been part of the France national team, keeping hopes alive of being part of the squad for the World Cup this year.

His chances of this may benefit from a move to Stamford Bridge, where he would certainly get his fair share of minutes due to the extensive fixture list.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo very rarely get a break at the minute, and Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo are currently unreliable due to their fitness records.

N’Golo Kante deserves proper Chelsea farewell

Despite his legendary service to the club, there was no real tribute to Kante following the end of his tenure at Stamford Bridge.

He departed at the end of a nightmare campaign where Graham Potter and Frank Lampard were in charge and the Blues finished in the bottom half of the table.

It is not suitable for the Frenchman to go out with these as his final moments at the club, and he should be brought back this month on a short-term deal.

Liam Rosenior would love some experience to be added to his ranks, as he looks to achieve the goal of finishing in the Champions League places this season.
