A man was shot and killed Saturday in a confrontation with federal agents in the city. It's the second shooting there in a week, the third this month, involving a federal officer.
"The decision was made to prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community," the league announced.
The game has been rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, at 5:30 p.m. ET at Target Center.
In the Western Conference standings, the Warriors are 25-21 and eighth, while Minnesota is 27-18 and seventh.
