Andy Robertson has been in the news this weekend as he prepares for a surprise January exit from Liverpool.
The left-back has been a terrific servant to the club, but after eight-and-a-half years he looks set to leave after losing his place in the starting XI.
Robertson was still included in the matchday squad for Saturday’s defeat against Bournemouth despite the ferocious speculation over his future.

In a shock move, Arne Slot brought the Scot off the bench at half-time in what could be his final performance for the club.
It turned out to be a heart-breaking one, with Liverpool throwing away a point in the final second of the game. After Bournemouth’s last-gasp winner, Robertson was spotted having a moment with the travelling Reds fans.
Andy Robertson shares a final moment with Liverpool fans?
There have been suggestions that Robertson will play his final Liverpool match in the Champions League against Qarabag on Wednesday.
According to journalist Lewis Steele, though, the 31-year-old appeared to be saying something of a goodbye on the South Coast on Saturday.

“Andy Robertson was last by the away end and appeared to give a little wave (I think) before he trudged over the pitch, head down,” Steele posted on X.
“If that was his last LFC game, as could well be the case, what a sad way to bow out for a player who has summed up the last decade as much as any.”
Although his mooted transfer to Spurs still has some way to run, this could be the clearest sign yet that Robertson is heading for the exit.

Is there a chance Robertson stays?
Amid the speculation over Robertson, it was fascinating that he came on so soon into Saturday’s defeat.
Milos Kerkez was not having his best game up against his old side, but he was not doing badly enough to be taken off by Slot.
If there is any suggestion that Kerkez’s withdrawal was injury related, then perhaps that will throw a spanner in the works of Robertson’s potential departure.
In truth, neither left-back covered themselves in glory at the Vitality, but if there is doubt over Kerkez then it would make even less sense to sell his current back-up.
For now, it appears the Robertson transfer is only going one way. But until things are sealed, maybe there is still a chance that he stays to fight for another half-season.
