Minnesota Timberwolves game against Golden State Warriors postponed by NBA after shooting

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KTTC) – The Minnesota Timberwolves game against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday has reportedly been postponed by the NBA.

According to NBA writer Shams Charania, the postponement came in the wake of Saturday’s deadly shooting in Minneapolis. It is the third shooting in Minneapolis involving federal officers, and the second one resulting in a person’s death.

Renee Good was fatally shot by ICE agent Jonathan Ross on Jan. 7. The man who was shot and killed on Saturday was reportedly identified as Alex Pretti. Both were 37 years old.

Charania says the Timberwolves game against the Warriors is rescheduled for Sunday at 4:30 p.m., resulting in back-to-back games for the two clubs.
