The Celtics had their chances late, but they fell just short to the Bulls 114-111 on Saturday in Chicago. Kevin Huerter hit the game-winning 3-pointer with just 0.2 seconds left on the clock to send the C’s to a loss. The Celtics dropped to 28-17 on the season.

Jaylen Brown scored a game-high 33 points, making him Saturday’s “Name to Know” Player of the Game. The Name to Know Player of the Game is sponsored by John’s Sewer and Drain Cleaning, the Name to Know when your drains don’t flow.

Brown has dealt with recent hamstring tightness, which landed him on the injury report ahead of Saturday’s game. But he still played through the nagging issue. He did all that despite playing 46 minutes the night before in the Celtics’ double overtime victory over the Nets.

Brown added eight rebounds and five assists to his stat line, shooting 14-for-28 from the field. He looked more like himself Saturday, though it wasn’t enough to boost the Celtics to victory.

The Celtics will return home for a four-game home stand after playing six of their last seven games on the road. It was another clutch-game loss for the Celtics on Saturday with the Bulls playing inspired basketball.
