And Aldridge could not believe what he witnessed from a defensive perspective from his former side.
He said: “Defensively, I couldn’t believe what I saw at times! Don’t need to point fingers, we all seen it.
“Shows our deficiencies at CH!!! Joe’s injury-prone, Konate is Konate, we need a CH who can just defend and pass the ball to any of the other 3 defenders. PS and see results out. Top 4/5 will be tight.”

Liverpool set unwanted record vs Bournemouth
Liverpool have now conceded 32 goals in the Premier League this season, the joint-worst record in top-12.
Furthermore, they have, with 16 matches still left to play, set an unwanted club record.
Against Bournemouth, Liverpool conceded a 90th-minute winning goal for the third time in the Premier League in 2025/26, which is the most times they have done so in a single season since the competition began in 1992.
Slot has tried his best to shore up the backline after that run of nine defeats from 12 in 2025, but the cracks were well and truly exposed against Bournemouth.
