Ahead of his fifth game in charge of Chelsea, Liam Rosenior will now have a good idea who he sees in his plans for the rest of the season.
Enzo Fernandez has been a favourite under Rosenior, featuring in all four games across four different competitions. He will almost certainly start against Crystal Palace.
Rosenior has also rotated his squad heavily in this time due to ongoing injury problems he inherited upon his arrival. Cole Palmer has struggled with his fitness, although should be available to face Crystal Palace.

Liam Rosenior is already a big fan of Trevoh Chalobah
The England international has played 90 minutes against Arsenal and Brentford, the two games where Rosenior has named the strongest sides.
According to The Guardian, the new manager has already been impressed by Chalobah, similarly to how previous Chelsea managers have been won over in the past.
The report points to the fact he was rested against Pafos in the Champions League, with the intention of starting against former club, Crystal Palace.
Despite not featuring, Chalobah was the recipient of David Luiz’s shirt after his return to Stamford Bridge. He also didn’t get on the pitch.

The Blues even went as far as freezing him out of first team duties to try and force his hand, despite his well-known admiration for them.
Chalobah was Chelsea’s most underrated player of 2025, and looks set to play a key role under Rosenior in the coming months.
The Blues have needed someone to step up in the absence of Levi Colwill, and the current best option to fulfil that role is Chalobah.
